Goodbye California and thank you for an amazing experience. Yes, today we're heading home! Back to little Denmark. We had booked a taxi for 11 AM, and it arrived right on time. The ride from downtown San Francisco to the airport usually takes about 25 minutes, but this time it took more like an hour! The taxi had about four stops to pick up other passengers. But for just 10 dollars, we didn’t mind, and we were well ahead of schedule anyway. The wait at the airport felt long since there aren’t many shopping options after check-in. San Francisco airport is incredibly small and can probably be compared to Billund Airport. So time dragged a bit until we finally took off at 4:05 PM local time, heading back home.
