Shopping in China Town

Everyone’s trying to hustle everyone else. There aren’t many honest souls in China Town. They often start with a price that you can negotiate down by about 50%. You have to be strategic when haggling, or you might end up offending them. Plus, you can’t always be sure about the quality of their goods, but if we assume the quality is decent, you can snag some incredible deals. If you’re planning a shopping trip to China Town, remember that most places prefer cash transactions! We highly recommend Jackson Street in China Town if you’re looking for a cheap yet tasty dinner. Our favorite spot was a Vietnamese restaurant where you can bring your own wine. We dined there for the first time yesterday, and after such a delicious meal, we just had to come back for more. Staying in a hostel is a fantastic idea if you’re traveling and want to meet new people. You’ll find folks from all over the world, each with their own experiences to share, which you can definitely benefit from. So just be open and dive into conversations with them!
