Singapore is one of the places we have returned to most often in Asia. It has served as a stopover, beginning or finale on four journeys, and we have experienced everything from Little India and local food centres to modern architecture, shopping and Raffles Hotel; its clean, efficient city life always contrasts strongly with the next destination.
