Yesterday, we flew from Alice Springs to Perth, rounding off our adventure in the heart of Australia and the outback. We also celebrated Villads' 8th birthday - first in Alice Springs and later in Perth. Here we found a super kid-friendly and cozy restaurant, Milky Lane Elizabeth Quay, where Villads got the wildest Minecraft drink! Burgers were there too - huge and really good - so we rolled home to the hotel afterwards well fed. Villads gets around and had a great birthday according to him😋 Today we enjoyed the amazing Perth, which has 2.5 million inhabitants. Both the beach at Scarborough and Thursday's Sunset Markets, but also the center of Perth. Perth is really worth a visit 🥰 Perth, like the rest of WA, is incredibly rich. The standard of living is very high and we see it everywhere. WA plays a hugely important role in Australia's economy - especially because of its natural resources. Perth is also a guarantee for good weather. We have around 26 degrees and sunshine every day. It's really nice🌞 Yes, it's actually Australia's sunniest city with around 3200 hours of sunshine annually. In comparison, Aarhus has around 1600 annual hours of sunshine😫 We used Uber for the slightly longer distances - quite cheap and easy. In the city center we took the local city buses, because they are simply free to use 😋
