Trekking at Uluru in the sunrise

We were up early this morning and set off on a trekking trip before the heat really sets in. We left our resort at 6:30am and headed to Kata Tjuta, and by 7:20am we were on the three-hour 'Valley of the Winds' trekking route. Kata Tjuta, also known as The Olgas, is an impressive collection of 36 reddish rock domes located about 50 km west of Uluru in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in central Australia. The name means "many heads" in the local Anangu language. The term is pretty apt😎 It's the last hike of our journey 😫 But what a way to end it! The landscape is like a scene from a Jurassic Park movie. We've hiked so many places in the world on our travels in 108 countries🌍 This hiking route is definitely in the top 10. A must if you're in the area. We were so impressed! Wow 🤩 Just like Ayers Rock, it's hard to reproduce in pictures. The two places are very different and we are happy to have experienced both Ayers Rock and The Olgas✌️
