From here jump Mon the bus and waiting at the side of the road on a bus to be far from Liberia or Piña Blanca. We waited only for about 10 minutes before the bus came to Liberia. It will cost around 18 kr per ticket and takes about 1 hour. In Liberia, you can again take a bus the last stretch up to the limit. The wait was a couple of hours, so we decided to take a taxi, it cost 15 usd total. In this way, we also minimized the bus and waiting in queues at the border. We came quickly and easily through and is now in Nicaragua, where we have set course for the beach in San Juan Del Sur. The last piece we took also into taxis - again 15 usd total. The beaches in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, which lies to the Pacific, is not nearly as beautiful as those located on the Caribbean Sea. However, better surfing waves along the Pacific, but the water lacks the beautiful turquoise color. We chose the beaches of Costa Rica. Montezuma, a real backpacker beach, would be a good casual place, but it is not possible due to lack of public transportation options to proceed from there up along the coast to Nicaragua. Tamarindo is also a popular destination - especially among Americans. Therefore called beach Tamagringo. This beach would be extreme animals and too overrun by tourists. Instead, we opted to see a beach on the Pacific Ocean in Nicaragua. San Juan Del Sur is a small colorful town - not very modern but it was all over the country bear the imprint of. The city is safe to move in the evening but not the beach. There are restaurants along the beach overlooking the water. The cheaper places to eat is lying in the streets.
