The coastal town of Tofino

We took a day trip to the west coast of the island, visiting the cozy and trendy surf coastal towns of Tofino and Ucluelet. This part of the island has long beaches and views of the Pacific Ocean. There's a special calm here - and at the same time plenty to experience. We also went for a walk in the rainforest and hiked along the coastal cliffs where we could spot both seals 🦭 and whales 🐳 But we're not staying here - the hotels in the area are insanely expensive. Prices start at 4,000 kr. per night. No thanks, that's not exactly our budget 😝 Instead, we've chosen to use Port Alberni as our base. Here our fine accommodation costs only 800 kr. 🥳
