Kayaking in Sproat Lake

It's warm - around 27 degrees and cloudless. Today we took a short drive to Sproat Lake, just one of Canada's more than 2 million lakes. The lake has clear fresh water and is a popular spot for swimming and water activities. Some are freezing, but Sproat Lake is quite pleasantly warm We rented three kayaks and enjoyed the day on the water. Alberte wanted to jump in for a swim, but when she climbed back into the kayak, it took in a lot of water. This meant she had to swim in while the rest of us rescued the kayak from the shore. Then we had to go back and empty it before we could continue again!
