✈️ Something brand new is happening today! 🤩 We’re currently sitting at Calgary Airport, ready to take off in a few minutes. 🇨🇦✈️ Can you guess where we’re flying to? 🤔🌎👇 🌆 We haven’t made much noise lately, but the answer to our last post was New York. 🇺🇸🗽 We’re in the city that never sleeps. It’s been many years since we were last here, and the kids have never been to New York before, so it’s a huge experience for both of them. We’ve now been here for 3 days and luckily still have one more day left, because there’s really so much to see here. We’re staying on Manhattan at Hotel 31, just a few minutes’ walk from the Empire State Building. 🏙️ Hotels on Manhattan are insanely expensive, especially in summer, when the city is packed with tourists. We did manage to find a really good deal though, paying around 1,250 DKK a night for all four of us. We have our own bathroom and a room of about 20 m², which has to be considered really good for New York. 😊 The last few days we’ve walked many kilometres, taken both Uber 🚕 and the subway 🚇, and experienced a lot. We’ve visited sights, different neighbourhoods, hunted for celebrities, seen a Broadway show 🎭, eaten well and much more. New York is and remains a fantastic city to visit. The price level is somewhat higher than in Calgary in Canada though 💸, so you think a bit more about what you spend your money on.
