🏔️ We’ve driven out of the mountains. Goodbye Rocky Mountains – see you again another time. ❤️ Wow, what fantastic nature it’s been. It’s truly been an experience we won’t forget for a long time. We’re now back close to Calgary, where today we visited the cosy western town of Cochrane 🤠 and the amusement park Calaway Park 🎢, just outside Calgary. A really nice way to end the motorhome adventure. Tomorrow morning we’re returning the monster of a motorhome, a full 9.1 metres. 🚐😅 You do have to get used to driving it – constantly thinking about the wide turns, and that you can’t just turn a vehicle like that on a dime. Our motorhome in Australia was around 7.5 metres, and actually we think both sizes work really well. Will we rent a motorhome again? Yes, definitely! 🙌 It’s a way of travelling the whole family loves. We’ve had plenty of space, the kids have each had their own big bed, and Villads has even had a double bed all to himself. It’s been pure luxury. 😄 We rented from Cruise Canada, and it actually hasn’t been the most expensive way to holiday. We paid around 1,250 DKK per day, including insurance, duvets, pillows, kitchen equipment and pretty much everything we needed. 💰 They’re not the newest motorhomes you get, but they work fine, and ours was really spacious. Tomorrow we return the motorhome, and then it’s straight on to the Calgary Stampede 🤠🐎 – one of the world’s biggest and most famous rodeo and cowboy festivals. We’ve been looking forward to this for a long time! 🇨🇦
