Departure to the Phi Phi Islands

Phuket, and especially Patong Beach, is really suffering from tourism. Sure, there’s a crazy party vibe and plenty of opportunities to let loose, but unfortunately, the beaches on Phuket are paying the price. We’re eager to experience some paradise islands and that turquoise blue water, so today we’re taking a boat to Phi Phi. I picked up some seasickness pills since the waves can get pretty rough. Thankfully, none of us ended up feeling queasy. There are no cars on Phi Phi. We arrived late in the day, but everything suggests we’ve landed on a true paradise island. The streets are just narrow paths covered in sand, with restaurants overlooking the sea. Gorgeous beaches surround us on all sides. The round-trip boat ride and two nights’ stay cost us 4000 baht for the two of us.
