We have encountered Portugal several times—from Faro and the Algarve to cruise calls and peaceful Porto Santo with long beaches and Atlantic island life.
Portugal has featured in several journeys and shown us different sides of the country. We began with a weekend in Faro and the Algarve, later visited Portuguese ports by cruise ship and spent a peaceful December week on Porto Santo; together they left memories of coast, city life, the Atlantic and an easy pace.
