Hike from Ponta do Sol to Cruzinha

What a beautiful hike😎 Sao Antao is just unique in terms of beautiful hikes 😍 On Sao Antão we started in the sleepy little fishing village "Ponta do sol". The plan was to just hike to "Fontainhas", which is an insanely beautiful village in the mountains on the coast. But we got up the nerve and hiked all 14 km to "Cruzinha". It's a walk of about 6 hours in a very hilly landskab⛰️ On the way along the coast we pass the village of "Formiguinhas". This is truly an isolated village. There is neither a boat route nor a road to the town. The only way to get to the town is to hike for several hours. What a place to live 😅 Legs are tired now, but the trip was worth it. Wow! I can see why this is one of the most popular hikes on Sao Antao😙
