The Final Shopping Spree
Shopping and fine dining at the restaurant Sirocco in Bangkok, Thailand.
The breakfast at the hotel is really good. A big buffet with plenty of options. We went a bit crazy and shopped for 9 hours at MBK, Siam Paragon, Center, and Discovery. It was our last chance to pick up some goodies. We managed to snag shirts, 2 pairs of shoes, jeans, T-shirts, and more. MBK is the go-to spot for young Thais and has a ton of knockoff items. Siam Center and Discovery are a step up in terms of prices, and Siam Paragon is the pinnacle of luxury shopping, packed with high-end brands like Gucci, Prada, Hugo Boss, Versace, and more. Definitely an experience worth having! We even ran into a famous Thai teen star at Siam Paragon who was performing and signing autographs. Bangkok is known for its stunning upscale restaurants that are booked weeks in advance. We dressed up and headed to the trendiest spot in town, Sirocco. Of course, there was no availability, so we ended up eating at the second-best restaurant, Breeze, which is a couple of floors down. The view over Bangkok was absolutely breathtaking. There were waterfalls and little fairy lights everywhere. You could sit outside in a cool breeze or indoors. The tables were arranged so that you felt completely undisturbed. Nothing was left to chance. Our dinner cost 900 baht. We also took a peek at the trendy restaurant, Sirocco. It's definitely worth a visit, even if you can't get a table. You can always grab a drink at the bar!
