Stay at the Hospital
Broken arm and afterwards surgery on a hospitial in Chaing Mai, Thailand.
At 1 AM on Thursday morning, I made my way back to my room. My arm has been put back together and set in place again. We’ve got a private room, so Honny is sleeping on a hard cot. In the morning, we wanted to get some information about the surgery, rehabilitation, and all that. It was incredibly difficult to get those details. Overall, the hospital is a good, well-functioning place, but it’s super slow. Late in the afternoon, the doctor finally came by. I was told I could use my arm as much as I could. The doctor also gave the green light for us to fly to Bangkok on Friday morning. We passed the time by watching some of the DVDs we bought. In the evening, the tailor stopped by with our clothes. He mentioned that he was praying for us so I could recover quickly. Luckily, there’s a shopping mall right across from the hospital, so Honny had the chance to go over there to eat and kill some time.
