Rain in Kananaskis and disc golf in Canmore

🇨🇦 Today’s plan was actually to experience Kananaskis 🏔️, a beautiful natural area with mountains, lakes and great hiking trails. Unfortunately the area has had a lot of rain recently, which meant several of the roads were closed. 🌧️ Instead we spent the day in Canmore. 🏘️ A really cosy mountain town just outside Banff National Park, with plenty of small shops, cafes and cosy restaurants. Definitely a town worth visiting. ❤️ 🥏 Disc golf is quite popular here in Canada. In short, it’s about throwing a disc into a metal basket in as few throws as possible – just like golf, but with a frisbee instead of a ball. So we bought a couple of discs and played against each other. It was actually the first time we tried it, and it was really fun and enjoyable. 😄 The kids were also completely hooked, so we’ll probably play again once we’re back home in Denmark. 🇩🇰
