🇨🇦 Good morning from Calgary! ☀️ We just woke up here in Calgary, where it’s 06.00. That might sound early, but back home in Denmark it’s already 14.00 🇩🇰⏰. With an 8-hour time difference, that actually means we’re getting up at exactly the time we normally would at home. 😄 Luckily the night was a lot better than the first one. 🌙 The first night the whole family woke up already at 01.30, wide awake! 😅 Instead of lying there sleepless and getting frustrated, we got up and went down to the reception, where we had fun with some games 🎲. After an hour and a half of that, we were all ready to sleep again, which actually meant we had a good day in Calgary yesterday 💪 It’s actually a method that has worked for us several times on trips with a big time difference. If we can’t sleep anyway, it’s much nicer to get up for a couple of hours and do something cosy – that way we usually fall back asleep more easily afterwards. 😊 Who’s best at handling the time difference, the adults or the kids? Definitely the kids 👧👦 We haven’t quite gotten around to taking photos yet 📸, so you’ll have to make do with a couple of pictures from yesterday’s dinner. 🍔🍟
