The leased car must be handed in Jacksonville, located northeast of Orlando. From there we fly to New York City. Between Jacksonville and Orlando are Daytona Beach, known for their beaches and world-famous races - Daytona 500 that ended on 02/15/2009. This race can gather people from all over the U.S. - and worldwide. It is considered by some as the most prestigious races on Nascar cars at all - National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. Daytona Beach tend to be flooded by young students, which includes spring break in late February. They see their cuts to get down to the heat and away from books. They have not yet invaded the town and beach. They are expected to arrive when it can be. The beach is wide with fine sand, where it is also possible to drive down with his car - just like on the west coast of Denmark. It costs 5 usd to run on the beach. During spring break doubled the prices of hotels. North of Orlando is the heat not arrived yet. Then we drive towards cooler periods that require a jacket and trousers in the evening. Around the airport there are several cheap hotels where you can get a super good deal on an overnight stay. One should however also note that it is not advisable to walk around the area after dark. During the day there should be no problems.
