Cape Verde gave us two weeks across Santiago, São Vicente and Santo Antão. We explored Praia and the fishing village of Tarrafal, snorkelled with turtles at São Pedro, enjoyed Mindelo’s music and colonial atmosphere, and hiked through Santo Antão’s dramatic mountains to villages reachable only on foot.
