Glow worm caves

Australia and New Zealand are home to glow worms, insects that glow in the dark. In Waitomo Caves, these live in the caves deep underground. Here you can take a guided tour of the beautiful caves, which also includes a boat trip to experience the caves and the glowing insects. So we showed up, but unfortunately everything was sold out as it's a very popular attraction here on the North Island 😩 But then we asked if there were any cancellations. After the young girl behind the counter had checked the system once again, there was luckily room for us 😍 It was a unique experience to see the caves lit up by thousands of glow worms 😙 Something we've never experienced before... Unfortunately, you were not allowed to take pictures inside the cave itself...
