Our homestay costs only 220 DKK in total for all four of us – including breakfast 😃 We also decided to add dinner, and we definitely didn’t regret it. For starters, we had a delicious lentil soup filled with vegetables, followed by a main course with chicken, lamb, rice, and various vegetables. Of course, we ended the meal the true Caucasian way with plenty of tea and sweets ☕🍬 The price? A modest 55 DKK per adult and 37 DKK per child 🤯 We’re staying in the home of the host family and sharing both the living room and bathroom with them. Everything feels very family-oriented, cozy, and authentic, and we’re really getting close to the family and everyday life here. We have a large room divided into two sections, where the children sleep in one part while we sleep in the other. The host family sleeps right next door, which makes the whole experience feel very special 👌 Today we also wandered through the small cobblestone streets of Lahij, a charming old mountain village hidden away in the Caucasus Mountains. It almost feels as if time has stood still here, with old stone houses, small workshops, and local craftsmen everywhere 😊 Today was also the day the car tire finally got fixed, so we’re back on the road again 🛻 We probably paid a bit of an overprice though and ended up paying 150 DKK in total. Seen from Danish standards, it’s still pretty cheap 😄
