We have visited the United Kingdom several times, with most of our experiences centred on London. On our first weekend trip, we combined famous places such as Hyde Park, Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus and the London Eye with The Lion King musical and dinner in Chinatown. When we later returned on a company trip, we skipped some of the classic sightseeing and focused on the atmosphere instead. We watched Footloose, spent a full day among the markets, food and subcultures of Camden Town, and finished with an unusual medieval dinner. London has shown us new sides on every visit and, to us, is a lively and expensive city, but also an easy place to return to for a few eventful days.
