Experiences in London

London, with its 9 million residents, is always worth a visit. We've been here several times before, but it's been quite a few years since our last trip. 😗 This time, it's a short weekend getaway from Friday to Sunday. 🇬🇧 From Aarhus Airport, it’s just a quick 1 hour and 20 minutes flight to Stansted, followed by a speedy 47-minute train ride to London Liverpool Station, where our lovely hotel is located. 🏩 Hotels in London are pretty pricey. Unfortunately, the rates are even higher on weekends. We ended up paying 1400 DKK per night for all four of us, but that does include a big breakfast buffet. The tickets cost 500 DKK each, which includes two 10kg carry-ons. Everything costs extra on a Ryanair flight, but I have to say, they are both punctual and efficient. ⚡️ London is quite expensive; in fact, the price level might be a bit higher than in Denmark. 💸 A weekend in mid-November is packed with people eager to experience London’s attractions and festive holiday vibes. 🤩
