Nepal gave us homestays with local families, a four-day Himalayan trek and sunrise from Poon Hill at an altitude of 3,210 metres.
Nepal became a journey where people and mountains mattered equally. We explored Kathmandu and Pokhara, stayed with two Nepalese families, cooked dal bhat together and trekked for four days in the Himalayas, sleeping in guesthouses and watching sunrise over the range from Poon Hill.
