Homestay oplevelser og solopgang fra Nagarkot View Tower

A homestay in Nepal is a great experience and something completely different from staying in a luxury hotel in Kathmandu. Our host family is really nice and happy to involve us in the day's activities ✌️ We have participated in cooking and eating with the family. It's very nice to learn about the family's way of making the national dish "Dal bhat". Our children have also enjoyed being in the kitchen 👀☀️😎 We also went hiking with the family and today the village has been building a huge swing in connection with Nepal's biggest festival "Dashain". Of course, it had to be tested afterwards ♥️ The village has goats, cows, chickens & buffaloes and is generally self-sufficient in terms of fruits and vegetables. You cannot say that the family is neither rich nor poor. They have what they need and generally have a good life. The host father is the mayor of the city, while the mother works in a hospital. The children are off school for the festival 😃 Our kids have especially enjoyed the goats 🙃 which have been the big hit 🙃 --- At 05:20 the alarm went off. It was still dark outside. From our homestay we had arranged a trip up to Nagarkot View Tower, where we would experience the sunrise from a beautiful viewpoint at about 2200 meters altitude. It was insanely beautiful to experience the sunrise and 360 degree panoramic views of the highest peaks in the world🗻 From here it is also possible to see Mount Everst 😎✌️ The wildest way to see Mount Everst and get up close is a helicopter tour. However, we have opted out as it would cost around 6000kr per snout 😀. Of course, you can also climb Mount Everst, but that will have to be on the next trip 😂
