After 2 amazing days in Kathmandu, we are now in Pokhara. The distance between Kathmandu and Nepal's 2nd largest city Pokhara is only 210km😃 A distance that in Denmark can probably be done in a couple of hours driving on a motorvej🛣️ But prick up your ears🙃 the trip takes a full 8.5 hours (incl. 1 hour break). Woooaw 🏆🙃 If you're looking for some of the worst roads in the world, Nepal is a great option. We chose to rent a Jeep with a driver. Then we could stop whenever we wanted 😎 However, it cost 750 kr for all 4 of us. There are much cheaper alternatives... tourist buses, local buses, etc. You can also fly between the 2 cities. However, Nepal goes from having a somewhat shaky reputation in terms of flight safety, so we opted out 🛩️ The kids did crazy well as always. Yes, it is actually an experience to experience life in Nepal when driving through the countryside. Actually also an experience in itself, to experience how bad the roads can really be 😂
