Moldova surprised us positively with Chișinău, countryside, low prices and the distinctive visit to Transnistria on our Easter journey.
Moldova is a small country between Romania and Ukraine, visited by far fewer tourists than most of Europe. We drove in from Iași in Romania and experienced Chișinău, the quiet countryside and Transnistria; the journey proved more interesting and positive than we had expected.
