The Dominican Republic has been a stop on two of our Caribbean cruises, giving us brief encounters with tropical scenery and the island’s lively mood.
The Dominican Republic shares Hispaniola with Haiti and faces both the Atlantic and Caribbean. We have visited on two cruises; the stays were brief, but they gave us impressions of tropical warmth, lush surroundings and a lively Caribbean atmosphere.
