End of the first cruise

Tomorrow our cruise with Norwegian Encore ends, but new experiences are in store 😍 Stay tuned ..... All corona restrictions of any kind are completely gone. The ship is filled to the last cabin and it's really busy 😎 If you don't have the latest omikron variant, you are probably sure to get the latest update for free 😝 We have 2 days at sea on the week-long cruise. On the ship there is plenty to do AND eat 😜 Today we have, among other things, driven go-karts. The ship has the largest track at sea. Very impressive 😄 Every day we get closer to Christmas, the ship gets more and more decorated 🎄🤶🎉 --- We've just been to the Dominican Republic 😎 We rented a car and visited the larger city of Puerto Plata. It was exciting, but we also had to be a little extra careful as the crime rate is relatively high and some areas of the city are very poor. It's always nice to rent a car as it gives us great freedom to go wherever we want 🚘 The traffic in the city was a bit challenging as there were crossing scooters everywhere 🤪 We also drove out into the countryside and experienced some of the beautiful nature the country offers. However, the roads were a challenge here as there were many big potholes and lack of maintenance 😗 Up in the mountains we got a beautiful view of the area 😍 --- The island of Tortola in the Caribbean was really beautiful. We went on a guided tour and it was a great experience😘 It's a British island (BVI) but there's not much British about the island itself 😀
