We experienced Colombia through Cartagena on a Caribbean cruise, where the colourful historic city gave us an intense but brief encounter with the country.
Colombia stretches from the Andes to both the Pacific and Caribbean, but our own encounter centred on Cartagena. We arrived by cruise ship and experienced the colourful historic city as a lively, warm stop on our journey through the Caribbean and Central America.
