A lot of photos are coming up now, because this experience was truly unique! ❤️🔥😀 Today we drove from Lake Louise to the mountain town of Jasper along one of the world’s most beautiful roads, the Icefields Parkway. 🇨🇦🏔️ Along the way you really experience incredible nature, but you should do yourself the favour of stopping at some of the many amazing spots along the route. There’s everything from short and long hikes to viewpoints, photo stops and cosy picnic areas. We spent the whole day experiencing, among other things, Peyto Lake, Bow Lake, Mistaya Canyon and a roughly 2.5-hour hike to Parker Ridge Trail, with a fantastic view over the glacier and the beautiful glacial lake. 🥾❄️💙 Right now we’re stopped at the Columbia Icefield, where we’ve parked the motorhome for the night with a view straight onto the impressive Athabasca Glacier. 🚐🏔️ It’s been some truly wild experiences. Nature is simply indescribably beautiful. After roughly 113 countries around the world, we’re still deeply impressed. This is probably some of the most beautiful nature we’ve ever experienced. Wow! 😍 The drive itself is fantastic, but it’s the many stops along the way that really make the experience even bigger. Early tomorrow we’re heading right up close to the Athabasca Glacier, and afterwards we’ll continue the last part of the Icefields Parkway towards Jasper, where the next campground awaits. 😀🇨🇦
