Hot Water Beach

The 'Hot Water Beach' here in New Zealand is nothing like any other beach. Tourists flock here to dig their own spa bath at low tide. If you dig just a few centimeters into the sand, there are hot springs of up to 64 degrees from underground lava flows. Perfect for a hot spa bath 😀 So we had to try it 😜 However, we were challenged by temporary bad weather, so our spa bath was occasionally washed away by the waves 🌊 We did get to build little hot tubs and feel the hot springs 😎 The kids loved the activity...
