Flattop Mountain

We conquered flattop mountain in Alaska🏔️😀😀 The hike takes about 3 hours and is about 5 km round trip. It's challenging but manageable - however, the last part required us to climb up steep rocks. Along the way and especially towards the top we were rewarded with a wild 360° panoramic view of mountains, sea and the city far below us. Understand why the route is so popular. Truly a beautiful experience😄 We had - as always - our bear spray with us, as there is also the possibility of meeting them on the route. An American woman actually showed us a video of two bears she had encountered just today near the parking lot🐻
