Douz - Gateway to the Sahara

We have moved well south to the desert city of Douz🐫 Here it is not 17 degrees, as in Tunis yesterday, but a pleasant 24 grader☀️ The landscape is not lush like up north, but desert and dry. Very fascinating contrast 🙏 Douz is the 'gateway to the Sahara'. From here, desert safaris can easily be arranged with accommodation in the desert. However, we have chosen to stay at a 4-star hotel with pool and half board. Price SEK 600 for all 4 of us per night. From here we go on day trips in Sahara's huge sandbox. Today we have been on a multi-hour camel ride in the desert. A really nice and cool family activity ♥️
