Tunisia
We experienced Tunisia on a road trip from Monastir, Sousse and Tunis to Douz, a Sahara camel ride and the almost unreal salt landscape of Chott el Jerid.
Tunisia gave us a week travelling independently from north to south. We explored Monastir, Sousse, Tunis and blue-and-white Sidi Bou Said, continued to Douz at the edge of the Sahara, rode camels and took a jeep into the desert, then experienced the vast Chott el Jerid salt lake as an almost lunar landscape.
