10-Hour Bus Trip

We woke up feeling a bit worse for wear after our night out. Today, we were heading further north to Maceio, but the long bus ride didn’t sound too appealing. We had to be at the bus station by 12:45 PM. Luckily, we were taking the luxury version of a long-distance bus, where the seats recline almost flat. It only cost 60 reais, which was a steal for a 10-hour journey. It turned out to be a loooong trip, but we finally arrived at 11 PM. We quickly grabbed a taxi to get to a hostel. Fortunately, there was a guest there who could speak a bit of German since the reception didn’t understand any English.
