It was difficult to resist amazing inexpensive airline tickets to Madrid with Ryan Air. Only DKK 1,- per ticket. Including all possible taxes the final price was DKK 244,-. Still pretty cheap. 48 hours, from Friday- to Sunday evening, of fun in Madrid enjoying the warm climate of Spain. 30 degrees was perfect- not too hot. The city was up side down because of a football finale which was going to take place during the evening. The city started to party in the morning and keept it going until late evening. Madrid has over 3 million inhabitants and is a very modern European city. It is also the 3. largest city in Europe after London and Berlin. June to August are the hottest months with a temperature easily reaching 30-35 degrees celcius. In the winter time, it is not unusual with snowfall, which is probably due to the city location, almost 1000 meters above sealevel. Take a look at the photos, sit back and enjoy our trip in Madrid .
