Weekend in Barcelona

Weekendtrip to Barcelona in Spain. Renting a city during the day and partying in the evening.

August month is perfect to visit Spain. 30 degrees during the day and 22 degrees during the evening. The atmosphere in Barcelona is great and it is a city offering everything. A happening city within walking distance to a beautiful beach. The cozy Rambla is the answer to the Copenhagen streets full of restaurants, stalls and street performers. The Gothic Quarter is the oldest part of the city and is characterized by its narrow winding streets with shops and tapas or paella restaurants where you can enjoy cool shangria. It is also here that you find the city's beautiful cathedral. Do you like art...do not miss the world famous buildings of Gaudi and Dali and countless museums like Picasso. The cathedral La Sagrada Familia is designed by Gaudi and is one of the biggest attractions in Barcelona. The church is Gaudi“s masterpiece which he began in 1883. It is expected to be completed in 2030. Have you had enough city life...take a trip up to Park Guell where you get a fantastic view over the city. The park was designed by Gaudi. Are you a football-freak...you have come to the right city where many share your passion. Visit the Camp Nou housing FC Barcelona or the Olympic stadium where the Olympics took place in 1992. Tickets purchased from Ryanair costed around 550 dkk/person from Aarhus Airport.
