Weekend in Alicante

We stayed at a 4 star Holiday Inn hotel located near the best beach in town "Playa de San Juan". Although this hotel is located approximately 5 kilometres from the center of Alicante, it is easy to access the center of town with buses and taxis. If you decide to stay in the center of Alicante, you will most likely visit Playa de San Juan, as it is one of the main attractions. Alicante has only one airport and it takes around 20 minutes from the airport to the centre of town. If you decide to take the airport shutle it should take around 35 minutes.
