Cruise to Greenland and Iceland

We sailed from Reykjavík on a cruise to Iceland and Greenland. Iceland In Iceland we visited Djupivogur, Akureyri in the north of Iceland and Isafjordur in the Westfjords. At Godafoss waterfall we saw the waterfall of the gods. On whale watching we sailed out and saw several whales. We hiked in the mountains at Isafjordur with panoramic views of the fjord and peaks. The weather surprised us with sun and warmth. Greenland First stop was Paamiut, a small town with 1200 inhabitants. The harbor was too small for the cruise, so we sailed in boats to land. Life is quiet and calm and everyone greets you friendly. Most people speak Danish. We hiked in the mountains, visited the kindergarten and police station. In Nuuk, with 18,000 inhabitants, we experienced a big contrast to Paamiut. Shopping center, trendy cafes and restaurants. We visited old Nuuk with colorful houses.
