Akureyri - Northern Iceland

We have moved on to the north of Iceland and the town of Akuryeri. We've had a very active day with the Godafoss waterfall, whale watching and some of the beautiful landscapes Iceland has to offer 🤘 The nature up here is world class. We knew that from a previous visit 😀 The Godafoss waterfall, meaning waterfall of the gods, was really beautiful and we enjoyed it very much. However, it takes more to impress the kids. They thought it was more fun to play with each other😎 On the whale safari, we sailed out in a small ship to experience the big animal in the beautiful Eyjafjörður fjord. It was a success and we saw whales up close 👏
