Paamiut - first stop in Greenland

Paamiut is a small town with 1200 inhabitants. The harbor is far too small for our cruise ship to anchor, so we sail in boats to the small harbor. Life in Paamiut is quiet and calm. Especially the calm is an experience in itself. Every time we meet a Greenlander in town, it's with a smile, a chat and a greeting. Most Greenlanders in the city speak Danish. Today we have been hiking in the mountains behind the town. Experienced the town. Visited the local kindergarten and police station, seen beautiful views, played football with the locals. A big wish come true ♥️ Sailing along the coast of Greenland is a truly beautiful experience and there are icebergs everywhere that our ship has to maneuver around ❄️
