Today we went on a 3-hour hike in Lambir Hills National Park. It was a beautiful hike in the rainforest with all kinds of animal sounds, which also has one of the highest concentration of tree species in the world. In the park there were a number of waterfalls and here we stopped at the Latak waterfall to swim. We saw no other tourists and had this part of the rainforest all to ourselves. The route was quite challenging at times and we had to use ropes and climb 🧗 Transportation and prices: We stayed in Miri. To Lambir Hills National Park it was about 32 km. It cost 74kr with a taxi/grab. On the way back we thought we would take a bus but it didn't come so we had to hitchhike, which of course was free 🛻 Entrance to the national park cost 43kr for 1 child and 1 adult 😀
