Flight problems and new plan

Sometimes things don't go the way the preacher preaches😮... Yesterday we were flying from Billund to Trieste in Italy with a stopover in Frankfurt. But our flight in Billund was delayed for 2 hours due to a storm in Germany. This meant we missed our flight from Frankfurt to Trieste and had to spend the night in a hotel in Frankfurt. With 6 hours of sleep in our luggage, we had to rush to the airport this morning. But here everything is total chaos 😥 All flights are overbooked as others have been in the same situation as us. We are on the waiting list for an overbooked flight to Trieste, but the chances of getting on it are slim. If we don't make it to Trieste today, our cruise will most likely be canceled .... 😰 Fingers crossed ❤️ 12.10 : Latest news is that we did NOT get on the crowded flight to Trieste 😥
