Tanzania

Tanzania is the African dream. It's where the dream images of elephants, giraffes, lions and zebras living and dying, hunting and being hunted side by side in the magnificent untouched nature come from. It's the land where travellers can get up close and personal with the animals. It's also the land where there's plenty to do if you can't sit still. There are mountains to climb, including Africa's highest peak Mt. Kilimanjaro, exciting treks in an extremely varied landscape ranging from hot plains and lush savannahs to jagged rocky mountains and white glaciers. However, Tanzania is more than nature and a romantic image of animals galloping across the savannah. The country is home to a multitude of tribes, whose distinctive rituals, colourful costumes and wondrous customs add spice to a visit.
