Departure Day

At 9 AM, we were at the airport, even though our flight wasn’t until 11:20. We had just forgotten something that needed to be sorted out first... After checking in our luggage, we headed into Billund city to buy a gift for an Indian family we plan to visit in Delhi. We wanted to get something typically Danish, so we chose a salt and pepper set from Den Kongelige Porcelænsfabrik. Can it get any more Danish than that? :) The gift was also just the right size to fit in our luggage without causing any hassle or taking up too much space. Back at the airport, we found out that our flight was delayed. This was almost the worst thing that could happen since we only had 45 minutes to catch our connecting flight in Frankfurt. Unfortunately, this meant we missed our flight to Bombay, and Lufthansa had to rebook us onto Indian Airways. While we were waiting in line to get our new tickets, we struck up a conversation with a Danish couple who found themselves in the same situation. The woman was Danish, and the man was Indian, so we ended up getting a bunch of great travel tips! :)
