We paid 20 dollars to stay in the front row right by the beach. You can definitely find cheaper places, but we also get a fantastic view of the ocean. For 10 dollars per person, we went on a full-day boat tour that included breakfast and lunch. We first sailed out to go snorkeling. The coral isn’t as stunning as, say, in Thailand, but it was lovely to cool off in this heat. Phew, it’s hot! Next, we were taken to Bamboo Island, where we could swim, take walks, and sunbathe while lunch was being prepared. Fresh fish over the fire. Yum! We crossed the island through the rainforest. The beach on the other side was much prettier than the spot where we were dropped off. Clean and pristine. Cambodia is cheap, and this town is no exception. If you order the Mekong Bucket, you get a drink served in a "bucket" (or a very large measuring cup), as the name suggests :) This big drink only costs 1.75 dollars and tastes amazing. We’ve both had a bit of stomach trouble, so we’re trying to be more careful about what we eat. We wouldn’t want that to limit what we can do, especially when you need to be sure you can find a bathroom all the time! :)
