Cruise the Norwegian Fjords
A week-long summer cruise from Kiel to Norway aboard the MSC Euribia. Visit Nordfjordeid, Ålesund, and Flåm, where you'll experience stunning fjord…
We embarked on a week-long cruise from Kiel to Norway aboard the MSC Euribia, one of the largest ships in the world, accommodating 6,335 passengers. It was an all-inclusive experience with food, drinks, and activities. **Nordfjordeid** A quaint town with a population of 3,000 and charming wooden houses. We rented a car and drove through the stunning fjord landscape, enjoying hikes in the area. The temperature was only 13 degrees in July. **Ålesund** We had a fantastic day with the weather on our side. We took a local bus to the starting point of our hike to Sukkertoppen, where we were rewarded with beautiful views of the city, the fjord, and the islands. Afterwards, we explored the town. **Flåm** From Flåm, we drove over Aurlandsfjellet to Lærdal. In the valley, the temperature was 19 degrees, but it dropped to 5 degrees over the pass, giving us a chance to play in the snow. On the way back, we passed through the world’s longest tunnel, measuring 24.5 km. In the journals, you can read about the hikes, the fjord landscapes, and the experiences we had on the cruise.
