Experiences in Sweden

So many wonderful experiences in Sweden! Hiking, moose safaris, beach life, castles, charming Swedish towns – and most importantly: lots of quality time as a family. We haven't shared much about our 4-day trip to Sweden here on the channel, but sometimes life just gets in the way 😙. Anyway, here’s a slightly different post that gives you an overview of our route and experiences. **The Route:** We took the ferry from Grenå to Halmstad with our car. We spent our first night in Halmstad, and the next day we drove along the coast down to Mejlby Strand, where we stayed for two nights in a classic Swedish red cabin right by the beach. From there, we made little excursions – including a visit to Smålandet Elgsafari, where we got up close with bison and moose, and to Hovs Hallar, where we hiked in the stunning coastal landscape. We also explored charming little towns like Laholm and visited cozy farm shops in the area. We wrapped up our trip with a sunny day in the lovely Helsingborg before taking the ferry to Helsingør. On our way home, we made a quick stop at Kronborg Slot – a nice way to end our adventure. **Budget:** **Transport:** • Ferry Grenå–Halmstad: 875 kr. • Ferry Helsingborg–Helsingør: 325 kr. • Our own electric car, charging at Tesla Superchargers **Accommodation (for 4 people):** • Good Morning Halmstad (including breakfast): 795 kr. • Good Morning Helsingborg (including breakfast): 750 kr. • Cabin at Mejlby Strand: 850 kr. per night
