We experienced Romania over two weeks of mountain scenery, historic towns and rural areas where traditions and everyday life remained clearly visible.
Romania is a large, varied country between Central Europe and the Balkans. During our two-week journey we experienced the contrast between cities, mountains and rural areas, finding strong traditions, beautiful scenery and far fewer tourists than in many other parts of Europe.
